Worked out from 3,200 Primogems, 5 Intertwined Fates and 0 Starglitter, over 30 days.

Pity here means the character banner, where the guides we read say a 5-star is guaranteed by wish 90. Only Intertwined Fates count toward it, whether owned, bought with Primogems or bought with Starglitter. Acquaint Fates are not used on the event banners (the guides tie them to the standard banner), so they are listed on their own line. The Beginners’ Wish banner has a discount, and this tool does not calculate it. The wish count starts from the pity number you type. Rates were read from guides on Oct 30, 2026; the game can change them, so confirm in your own wish screen.

Wishes to Primogems

For a quick answer, use the two boxes below. They need no other settings.

Wishes to Primogems

90 wishes cost 14,400 Primogems.

Primogems to wishes

12,960 Primogems is 81 wishes with 0 left over.

Each wish is one Fate and each Fate is 160 Primogems, so wishes to Primogems is multiplication by 160. A full 10-wish pull is 1,600 Primogems, and the 90 wishes behind the pity guarantee are 14,400. Wishes you can already pay for with Fates you own do not need Primogems at all.

This table works without any script. It divides each amount by 160 and keeps the remainder.

How many wishes is 8080 Primogems

8,080 Primogems buys 50 wishes and leaves 80 Primogems. That is five 10-wish pulls. If you also hold a few Fates, add them to the 50.

12960 Primogems to wishes

12,960 Primogems is exactly 81 wishes, with nothing left. Because pity is 90 wishes, you would need 9 more wishes, which is 1,440 Primogems, to be sure of the guarantee from a fresh count.

How long does saving take

These figures assume 30 days of income, with the rates from the next section.

Income sourcePrimogems in 30 daysWishesLeft over
Daily Commissions only1,8001140
Blessing of the Welkin Moon only2,70016140
Both together4,5002820

Starting from nothing, Daily Commissions alone would take 240 days to reach 14,400 Primogems. One 30-day Welkin Moon plus commissions would take 195 days: 30 days at 150 a day gives 4,500, and the remaining 9,900 at 60 a day takes 165 more. If you renew the Welkin Moon every 30 days so it never lapses, it is 96 days at 150 a day. Real accounts also earn from events and exploration, which you can add in the Other box above.

The rules this calculator uses

Each number below is stated in at least two of the guides we read on Oct 30, 2026, except where we say otherwise. The guides were published between 2021 and 2024, and the game changes, so treat the numbers as a baseline and confirm anything important in the game.

  • 160 Primogems per Fate. One wish costs one Fate, and a Fate costs 160 Primogems. GG Recon, CharlieINTEL and Codashop all say so.
  • 5 Masterless Starglitter per Fate. CharlieINTEL and GG Recon both give five Starglitter for an Intertwined or Acquaint Fate in Paimon's Bargains.
  • 60 Primogems a day from Daily Commissions. ONE Esports calls it a constant 60 a day, and CharlieINTEL splits it into 40 for four commissions plus 20 from the Adventurers' Guild reward.
  • 90 Primogems a day for 30 days from the Welkin Moon. CharlieINTEL and Codashop both give 90 a day, 2,700 over 30 days.
  • Acquaint Fates are not for the event banners. ONE Esports and GG Recon tie them to the standard banner. Neither lists the character event banner, which is why they stay out of the character-banner count.
  • Pity of 90. ONE Esports, GamesAtlas and GG Recon say a 5-star is guaranteed by wish 90 on the character banner. GamesAtlas puts the soft pity, where the chance rises, at about 75 wishes, and no second guide we read gives that number.

We did not use the Genshin Impact Fandom wiki: it returned an access error when we tried it once, and we did not try again. Weapon banners use a different pity count, which this page does not cover.

How the figures are worked out

Everything uses whole numbers. Wishes now are your Primogems divided by 160, rounded down, plus your Intertwined Fates, plus your Starglitter divided by five, rounded down. Primogems gained are the days times 60 if commissions are on, plus 90 for each Welkin day that falls inside the period. Expected extra Primogems are added only to the total on the target date, never to today's stock. The shortfall for pity is the wishes you still need times 160, minus everything you have or will have by then. The days-to-pity result steps forward one day at a time using only the daily income, so the extra box is not spread over the days, until the stock covers that cost.

What can change this

HoYoverse can change prices, rewards and pity. The calculator ignores the free Fates and Primogems that come from events, Spiral Abyss and mail unless you enter them, and it does not know your banner, your luck or whether your last 5-star was the featured character. Quick answers

How many Primogems is one wish?

One wish costs one Fate, and one Fate costs 160 Primogems. Three guides we read give 160 Primogems for an Intertwined or Acquaint Fate, so 10 wishes are 1,600 Primogems.

How many wishes is 8080 Primogems?

8,080 divided by 160 is 50 with 80 left over, so 8,080 Primogems is 50 wishes and 80 Primogems.

How many wishes is 12960 Primogems?

12,960 divided by 160 is exactly 81, so 12,960 Primogems is 81 wishes with nothing left over. You would still need 9 more wishes to reach 90.

How many Primogems do I need for 90 wishes?

90 wishes cost 14,400 Primogems at 160 each. Intertwined Fates you already own, and Starglitter exchanged for Intertwined Fates, reduce that number, which is what the calculator subtracts for you.

Do Acquaint Fates count toward character banner pity?

No. Two guides we read say Acquaint Fates are not used on the character and weapon event banners: ONE Esports and GG Recon both tie them to the standard banner. Intertwined Fates are the ones used on the event banners. The calculator counts only Intertwined Fates, Primogems and Starglitter toward the 90-wish pity count and shows Acquaint Fates as a separate Standard Banner line. The Beginners’ Wish banner has a discount, and this tool does not calculate it.

Does this site have anything to do with the game company?

No. This is an unofficial fan tool, it is not affiliated with or endorsed by HoYoverse, and it uses no game artwork. All screenshots are of this page.

Where this comes from

Each guide was requested once. Fandom wiki pages returned an access error and the one Game8 address we tried returned not found, so neither was used. This page is an unofficial fan tool and is not affiliated with HoYoverse.
